About Garlic Powder

Product Info:
Garlic (Allium sativum) is a member of the Lily family and is a widely used and commonly known spice. Along with being a wonderful flavoring agent Garlic has been used to ward off evil spirits, improve blood circulation, increase vitality and strengthen eyesight. 

Suggested Use:
Dried Garlic is wonderful to use when cooking because it has all of the flavor of fresh Garlic yet it will not spoil and the smell does not linger on your fingers. Garlic is a key ingredient in cuisines from Italy, Greece, the Middle East, India, Thailand, China and many other locations.

Ingredients:
Garlic

Basic Prep:
Add to recipes along with other spices. One level teaspoon equals one clove of fresh garlic.

    No Clump Garlic Powder

    Very fragrant. Adds great garlicky flavor to all my dishes, and I use it a lot. I use it to make other spice blends, too. My biggest beef with garlic powder overall is that it turns into a solid brick after a while and you have to chisel it to get it useable. So far SpicesForLess garlic powder hasn't clumped, nor do I expect it to. It came in a sealed zipper pouch and I emptied it into a 1 pound spice jar that I had. That may affect the clumping, but we'll see. We've had this garlic powder about three months now and still no clumping.
