About Celery Seeds, Whole
Product Info:
Celery Seeds (Apium Graveolens) are the tiny brown seeds from the head of the celery plant. They add the flavor of fresh celery and can be used when ever celery would be called for. Use sparingly, over use of the seeds can result in a bitter flavor. Celery dates from the 17th century; it was developed from wild celery that was found in the salt marshes of Europe. Celery Seeds are often ground and mixed with other spices to make a seasoning used on meat before grilling.
