Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
2 tsp olive oil
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup hot pepper sauce
1/3 cup gorgonzola cheese
1 Tbsp plain bread crumbs
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Celery Seed
Pinch of Black Pepper
4 hamburger buns
1 cup iceburg lettuce chopped
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
2. In a large bowl mix ground chicken, 1 Tbsp hot sauce, 1 Tbsp gorgonzola cheese, bread crumbs, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, celery seed and pepper.
3. Form into 4 patties.
4. Cook patties in skillet 5-7 minutes per side until cooked thoroughly.
5. Add remaining hot sauce to a shallow dish.
6. Add burgers into hot sauce, turning to coat.
7. Place burgers on buns. Top with lettuce and remaining gorgonzola cheese.
